ARTIST'S STATEMENT

“I intuit the world through light, color and the dramatic rhythms and cycles forever unfolding in nature.  

I believe that painting has real physicality…a living, breathing presence and energy. We generally see in multiple images and no two people truly share the same reality. When we view a landscape or objects in space, we do not see outlines and definitions, but rather millions of tiny blurred lines, fractals and shapes that form beautiful, elaborate designs and intricate patterns.  

My intention is to capture on canvas nature’s ‘inner life’ and share with the viewer these multiple “realities” that I find to be so exciting and liberating. I try to be true to myself in my art by being true to the world that I see, hear and feel.”
